Beauty Moment: Emily Blunt
Are we the only ones who miss poring over beauty looks from red carpet moments and more?
Quarantine has brought few true made-up moments our way, but we’re thrilled to report that this week, while virtually promoting her new film Wild Mountain Thyme, Emily Blunt wore several beautiful looks from Chantecaille courtesy of master artist Jenn Streicher. “Not only was I excited to go back to work but I was thrilled to be working with Emily again! We collaborate really well and it felt great to be back together again”, Streicher said.
There were a few different beauty moments, and they were all megawatt gorgeous: Blunt’s glinting golden highlights played off her English rose skin, and each color story Streicher crafted was luminous and strikingly natural, naturally. You can see the full range of looks in an exclusive story over at Byrdie.
“Not only was I excited to go back to work but I was thrilled to be working with Emily again! We collaborate really well and it felt great to be back together again.”
Here’s how to get Emily’s shimmering copper eye and beyond-cool pink matte lip.
“I love to start with the Gold Energizing Eye Recovery Masks. These work on everyone and are so great to apply right away — I always like to start on the eyes, especially while the eye masks do their magic.”
“For skincare, I layered the Rose de Mai Face Oil with a layer of the CBD 300 Face and Body Cream on the face, and rolled on the Nano Gold Energizing Eye Serum anywhere that needed extra moisture.”

For Emily’s skin, Jenn used best-selling foundation Future Skin in Alabaster and added Real Skin+ in 1 for a bit more coverage under the eyes and around the nose —both fair shades with balanced undertones.
For the eyes, Jenn applied Mermaid Eye Color in Copper, a true copper with eye-catching shimmer, from the lash line into the crease.
Next, Jenn used the Luster Glide Silk Infused Eye Liner in Jasper, a deep bronze, along the lash line and smudged it out with her finger.
For a bit of definition, Jenn brushed the matte neutral brown shade from the Hummingbird Eye Quartet into the crease and added just a bit on the lower lash line.
Then Jenn tapped on a touch of Luminescent Eye Shade in warm champagne color Cheetah onto the middle of Emily’s eyelid and along her lower lash line.
“I love the way it creates just a very subtle shine — a little glistening pop.”
To finish the eyes, Jenn brushed lots of Faux Cils Mascara onto the upper and lower lashes and instead of filling in the eyebrows, Jenn used Full Brow Perfecting Gel + Tint in Dark.
To accentuate Emily’s cheeks, Jenn blended Liquid Lumiere in Sheen, a pearly pink, onto the high points of the face to highlight the cheekbones and then layered the Philanthropy Cheek Shade in Butterfly, a rosy-pink blush.
Emily did her own lips using new Le Matte Stylo in Snapdragon, a moisturizing sophisticated bright rose, then added a touch of Lip Chic in Coral Bell on top to give the lips a pop of flattering coral pink.
And “because all of Emily’s press was "virtual", we used a bit of HD Perfecting Powder throughout the day for touch-ups and shine control.”
